On the 31st July our school welcomed students and staff from our sister school in South Korea. Families from our school kindly hosted the Yangpyeong students for a week, providing an insight into Australian life. The visitors attended classes and excursions to Greenpatch and Shoalhaven Zoo. Hosting families were treated to a traditional meal cooked by each of the students staying at their home. A highlight of the week was the farewell assembly which included outstanding Taekwondo, guitar and vocal performances by the Yangpyeong students. The week provided an excellent opportunity for students at both schools to interact and develop an understanding of each other’s culture.  We thank Yangpyeong high school for visiting Bomaderry high school and look forward to our future visit to South Korea.
